Welcome Aboard! SOLST ~ Southwest Oregon Large Scale Train Club

SOLST ~ Southwest Oregon Large Scale Trains has been a club in Medford since 1990. The club is organized to promote the enjoyment of these large scale model trains, both indoors and outdoors. This is truly a family hobby.

The club currently has 3 different layouts: the outdoor one you can see at the Medford Railroad Park, Medford, Or., an indoor layout for club members only, and a traveling modular layout which we take to shows.

Many of our members have layouts at their homes, or have plans to get one started.

As club members we also have many potlucks and open houses during the year, not to mention a whole lot of fun every time we meet!

Dues are $15.00 per year for the whole family, and for this minimal price, you can become a "Railroad Baron" and part owner of all 3 layouts. Monthly meetings are on the third Friday night of each month, and we come out to play on the outdoor layout every Saturday morning.

As a result of many generous donations of trains, track, materials, time, talents, and love, we are a thriving and prosperous club. We can use YOUR talents and creativity, and we can share with you OUR knowledge and experience.

We hold our monthly meeting on the third Friday of every month in the HO building at the train park.

Work Parties every Saturday before a run weekend from 9:30 - 12:00 PM. 

Open to the general public every second and fourth Sunday of the month from 11:00 - 3:00 PM.
